Returns & Exchanges Policy
At Dansko Shop, we stand behind our quality footwear designed for active professionals, outdoor enthusiasts, and style-conscious customers. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase of our athletic, work, outdoor, casual, or cowboy boots, we’re happy to offer returns or exchanges within 15 days of receipt.
Our Return Policy
We accept returns and exchanges for most items within 15 days of delivery, provided they are in new, unworn condition with original packaging and tags attached. For the safety of all customers, we cannot accept returns of worn footwear.
How to Return or Exchange
- Initiate Your Return: Email our customer service team at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return within 15 days of receiving your items.
- Wait for Approval: Our team will respond within 2 business days with return instructions and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
- Package Your Items: Securely pack the unworn merchandise with all original packaging, tags, and documentation. Include a copy of your order confirmation or packing slip.
- Ship Your Return: Send the package to our Oklahoma City facility using a trackable shipping method. We recommend insuring your return.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). For exchanges, we’ll cover the cost of shipping the replacement item to you.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Your original payment method will be credited (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund
Note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases of our error.
Exchange Process
For exchanges (size or color changes):
- Follow the standard return process above
- Clearly indicate in your email that you’re requesting an exchange and specify the desired replacement item
- We’ll ship your new item once we receive and process your return
Exchange items are subject to availability. If your requested item is out of stock, we’ll issue a refund or contact you for alternative options.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and cover all associated shipping costs.
International Returns
For our global customers (excluding certain Asian and remote regions), please note:
- You are responsible for any customs fees or duties associated with returns
- Refunds will be issued in USD
- Processing times may be longer for international returns
